Building an ‘art cart’ to hold all the essentials for running art classes for kids in Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol.

Asked for Arnold to have a little style
Small, mighty, and packed full of features.
Taking inspiration from early wooden Bauhaus toys, I opted for a set of colour coded draws that could be swapped around to make patterns on the front of the cart.
Storage being the main requirement, it was built with 3 large drawers, 18 small, A3 paper storage compartments, a paper roll holder as well as 5 spring clips for display and a stationary strip at on the top.
Let’s Make Art ensure it is kept topped up with a range of creative materials and exhibition-inspired activities.
Available Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm on the second floor at Arnolfini.
